DESCRIPTION

Small Chinese porcelain ginger jar cover with a domed profile.
Decorated in the Famille Rose palette with a stylized Daoist auspicious emblem tied with flowing turquoise ribbons.
The white glazed ground is accented by double iron-red bands around the rim.
Finely potted and likely intended as a replacement lid for a small covered vessel.
