📜 Description
Antique Chinese porcelain cover for a vase or jar, richly decorated in the Canton Rose palette with
scrolling flowers in green, pink, and orange enamels. The finial is shaped as a gilded Foo Lion (guardian
dog). A fine decorative survivor from the Late Qing Dynasty.

Collector’s Notes:
The Canton Rose style was highly prized in the 19th century, with symbolic lotus blossoms representing
purity and Foo Lions as protective emblems. Such covers are scarce and valued for their craftsmanship
and cultural significance.

FAIR ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) – cover has been broken finial and chipped edges, with wears and losses. Please review the
