DESCRIPTION

A Victorian English porcelain cup and saucer decorated with colorful botanical sprays, flowers, foliage and butterflies. The white porcelain ground is enriched with pink, blue, green and reddish tones together with gilt detailing. Both pieces have shaped rims finished with broad brown bands and gilt borders, giving the set a distinctive decorative appearance. The underside bears a crowned Worcester mark with the number 51 and additional painted decorator marks. An attractive 19th century porcelain set with strong period character.
