A fine Wedgwood blue Jasperware saucer of elegant baluster form, decorated in white relief with
cherubs and muses seated under trees, and bands of acanthus leaf ornament around the neck. A
timeless example of English neoclassical design.

The Wedgwood Jasperware series was first introduced in the 18th century by Josiah Wedgwood, inspired by
Greek and Roman art. The pale blue variation remains the most iconic and collectible form. This piece is ideal
