| 📜 Description | A charming Qianlong period Chinese export plate decorated in the Famille Rose palette. The central floral motif is surrounded by small scattered flowers and a finely dotted border in puce enamels. The shaped rim features alternating floral clusters within a soft green band — a style strongly associated with export wares for the Indian Market. Collector’s Notes: Lightweight body, pale glaze tone, and the enamel style correspond well with mid 18th-century export production. Plates of this type were highly popular in India, where florals in bright yet delicate palettes were especially favoured. A good reference example despite condition wear. |
