📜 Description
Elegant Chinese Qianlong period export Porcelain bowl decorated in refined Grisaille with floral bouquets and scattered sprigs, delicately enriched with gilt highlights to the flower centres and details. The rim interior features a geometric diaper border in monochrome, framing a central small floral sprig. The exterior displays finely painted flowering stems in balanced composition.

Collector’s Notes: During the Qianlong reign (1736–1795), Chinese export porcelain achieved exceptional technical and artistic refinement. Grisaille decoration—also known as encre de Chine—was highly favoured in Europe for its elegant monochrome palette often accented with gilding. Such bowls were produced for the export market and remain sought-after examples of Qing Dynasty craftsmanship.
