📜 Description
A finely painted antique Chinese blue and white porcelain plate, decorated with a central scene of a willow tree, peonies, and a scholar’s table with precious objects. The wide border is filled with floral scrolls and auspicious motifs, all executed in rich cobalt blue tones. The plate is octagonal in shape, typical of export wares of the Qianlong period.

Collector’s Notes: Such plates were popular export items during the 18th century, reflecting both Chinese symbolism and Western demand for chinoiserie. The peony symbolizes prosperity, while the scholar’s objects indicate wisdom and learning.
