📜 Description
A very attractive Blue & White Qing plate painted in deep cobalt tones with a central Peony and Rock Garden composition. The classic 18th-century border includes lattice and floral panels. The reverse shows a clean glaze with typical firing speckles and an unglazed footrim.
Collector’s Notes: This plate shows the refined workmanship typical of the Qianlong period, where floral painting became increasingly naturalistic. The Peony is a key Chinese symbol for wealth and honour, making such pieces highly desirable among collectors of export porcelain.
