Chinese Porcelain teapot and cover, of lobed “melon” form, decorated in an Imari palette with underglaze blue and iron-red floral sprays, accented with fine Gilt details. The domed cover has a knop with cord attachment and decorative beads, and the teapot features a curved handle and spout with matching painted accents.
Collector’s Notes: Kangxi era export porcelain often adopted vibrant Imari-inspired color schemes for Western taste, combining cobalt blue with iron-red enamels and gilding.
