📜 Description
Fine Chinese Porcelain Imari style punch bowl decorated in underglaze blue, iron-red and gilt enamels. The exterior features a continuous band of auspicious objects, vessels and floral sprays including peony blooms, symbolizing wealth and prosperity.

The interior is decorated with a central floral medallion enclosed within double blue lines, with a geometric diaper border along the rim highlighted in iron-red and blue.

The bowl shows historic metal staple repairs and a visible crack line through the body, reflecting traditional restoration techniques used to preserve valued porcelain pieces.

Collector’s Notes: Kangxi period Imari wares were produced for both domestic use and export, combining vibrant underglaze blue with overglaze iron-red and gold decoration. Motifs of auspicious objects carry symbolic meanings of longevity, prosperity and scholarly refinement, making such pieces highly desirable among collectors of Qing Dynasty porcelain.
