📜 Description
Chinese Porcelain Plate finely decorated in vibrant Famille Verte / Wucai enamels. The central medallion displays a lively arrangement of peony flowers surrounded by leafy scrolling vines, symbolizing wealth and prosperity.

The cavetto is enclosed by iron-red line borders, while the rim features alternating floral cartouches and diaper patterns enriched with green and yellow enamels, typical of the Kangxi period aesthetic.

The reverse is simply decorated with floral sprays and bears a characteristic leaf mark within a double circle in underglaze blue.

Collector’s Notes:
Kangxi Dynasty Famille Verte wares are highly prized for their bold palette and energetic brushwork. The peony, known as the “king of flowers,” represents honor and prosperity in Chinese culture. Plates with leaf marks are commonly associated with export wares of the late 17th to early 18th century, making this an attractive example for collectors of early Qing Dynasty ceramics.
