Blue and white ‘dragon’ ‘rice’ saucer,

Marks and period of Republic.

Of saucer shape, the centre decorated in underglaze-blue with a five-clawed dragon chasing the flaming pearl.

LITERATURE
Saucer in blue & white color with patternof the Rice Grain made that from the end of the 19th Century to thebeginning of the People’s Republic of China (PRC – 1949). The layout of these ‘rice grain’ shapedtranslucent elements is decorated the body. The center decoration istraditional Chrysanthemumand buds on a mound patternand the rim has Underglazeblue bat and I-ching symbols.

Condition: GOOD ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) – shallow flake to the top rim and 2 x tiny chips (0.5cm) of the saucer, some light scratches on the body; otherwise, it’s in very good condition. Please see the pictures carefully.
