📜 Description
Fine Chinese Porcelain shallow bowl decorated in Doucai with a vivid Green Dragon chasing the flaming pearl amidst stylized clouds. The interior features a central five-clawed Dragon, while the exterior continues the motif with additional dragons and cloud scrolls, all outlined with delicate underglaze blue and filled with green enamel. The rim is finished with a double green line, enhancing the clean White Ground typical of this decorative style. The base bears a neatly written underglaze blue KANGXI Mark within double circles.

Collector’s Notes: Dragon imagery symbolizes imperial authority, strength, and good fortune in Chinese culture. The Doucai technique—combining underglaze blue outlines with overglaze enamels—was highly prized since the Kangxi period. Later 20th Century examples such as this were produced in homage to earlier imperial wares and remain highly collectible for their craftsmanship and vibrant enamel decoration.
