CONDITION

FAIR/RESTORED (2/5) – Cup has a fine hairline crack from the rim measuring approximately 3 cm. Saucer has been broken across the middle and professionally glued, with an additional fork-shaped rim crack that has also been glued. General light wear consistent with age. DESCRIPTION

An authentic Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain cup and saucer dating to the Qianlong period of the 18th century. Decorated in delicate Famille Rose enamels with a central flower basket surrounded by scattered floral sprays. The rims are highlighted with gilt and iron red decorative borders. A charming antique tea set displaying the refined elegance of early Chinese export porcelain despite the noted restoration.
