Collector’s Notes: Canton workshop and retail firms supplied elegant Chinese Export Silver to both local and international clients during the late Qing period. The Dragon is one of China’s most powerful auspicious symbols—associated with authority, protection, and good fortune—making dragon-adorned serving pieces especially desirable to collectors.
