| 📜 Description | Fine Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain plate decorated with a central bouquet of large blooming Peonies, smaller floral sprigs, and delicate enamel shading. The cavetto and rim are enriched with dense floral scrolls and Gilt highlights, finished with a scalloped edge typical of the Qing Dynasty Yongzheng period. Collector’s Notes: Peonies symbolize wealth, honor, and prosperity in Chinese culture and were especially favored during the Yongzheng reign. Famille Rose enamels reached exceptional refinement in the early 18th century, prized for their soft color palette, painterly detail, and elegant court taste. |
